The Film industry and TV industry has been facing losses in crores of rupees due to the sudden stopping of the whole entertainment industry because of lockdown to control the spread of Coronavirus. Federation of Western India Cine Employees (FWICE) recently sent a letter to Maharashtra CM Uddhav Thackeray to allow the start of shooting for films, TV shows and web series to avoid any further loses. Uddhav Thackeray has responded to this request and revealed in an official statement that the Maharashtra government would consider an action plan on how shooting and post-production can begin in a limited way by adhering to social distancing and other norms. Mahesh Manjrekar in an exclusive interaction with Zoom reacted to this news and talked about how careful the film industry has to be to continue shooting of the films and how actors need to lose the luxury status and act responsibly on the sets.
